What an honor to be back at one of my favorite Jersey Shore wedding venues this summer. When Cara and Patrick first reached out inquiring about wedding photography, I knew this day would be as amazing as their love story. We hit it off from our first interaction, and I was looking forward to this wedding all year. These two have been friends for ten years and together for over five of those years. Although they currently live the fast paced life in Hoboken, the beach is their special place. Cara speaks of such fond memories summering at the shore. It made perfect sense that Patrick chose to propose on a beautiful spring day in Lavallette. He had the most adorable beach picnic set up for this sweet moment. They chose The Mill Lakeside Manor in Spring Lake, New Jersey. for its proximity to the shore and modern coastal flair.
The coastal florals and classic men’s attire made the entire wedding feel elevated and timeless. From the white rose bouquets, to pastel blue menus, the entire day matched Cara and Patrick’s effortlessly cool nature. The weather was just perfect. The entire day was filled with meaningful heirlooms and touches that honor their love and family. Cara looked simply stunning in her dress. Patrick really nailed the “cool groom” look. The adoration between them and the amount of love that their guests shared with them was so apparent throughout the entire day. Smiles and laughs were abundant and contagious.
There were so many memorable moments. From the goosebump inducing cheers after their “I do,” to the grand exit from Saint Denis church. The portraits at Divine Park were just breathtaking. At the reception, they enjoyed an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour with so many food options, an epic first dance, bagpipers, a packed dance floor, bridal party speeches. Cara and Pat finished the night with crowd surfing! What a dream it was!
